With the days of looking to catch 40 inch bass in the past these days I have sized down to a 7ft 10-20lb rated freshwater bass rod braided line with a florocarbon leader and a 3/4oz 5 inch pearl jerk bait, what gets your vote for a lure and rod set up to use when you just want to catch a fish??? Please share a picture:)

What is the maker of those baits?

I'm thinking about an answer to your question

Those look nice.

My fish catcher is the classic zoom fluke on a 3/8oz jig head. fluke, sea bass, plenty of stripes, LMB, and pickerel have all eaten it. I shouldve used it on my mahi trip this week to add them to the list.

I guess this all depends on where I'm fishing.

Canal paddletails

RI small riptide mullets

Beach swimmers/ topwater

How would you rate the Canal 2022 fishing?

I've been liking the various zoom super flukes. The paddle tail and fork tale ones in different colors. Fish them weightless and with weighted swimbait hooks. Catch all sizes of fish salt and fresh. I believe they're about 5" and reasonably priced. Also like Albie Snax standard 6" in various colors. They work on other stuff besides albies.

For top water I like the smack it jr.   That little plug has caught a lot of fish.

7" rebel seems to be most reliable where I am, we don't have anything other than stripers though
