I had 3 goals this year.  

Kill a Caribou.

Catch a Sea Run Arctic Char

Fill a cooler with Salmon  

 

Only got to fulfill one of them.  

 

Left NY at noon on Aug 25th.  Got drunk in Seattle and arrived in Fairbanks at 9:30pm their time.  

What do you do after 13 hours of travel?  

You go to Ivory Jacks and drink Rum, go to your friends house and burn down then you play guitar until 3am.  

  

 

The next couple of days were spent preparing, gathering supplies, test driving the boat and the general debauchery you'd expect.

Yeah they are everywhere.  We actually had a hunter nearby that disappeared.  They've been searching for 2 weeks now.
