Ok let’s hear it. What is your go to rod for 60 to 100 feet? (Rig rod) I’m looking  to pick up a new one this year.

I use a rod I built with a black hole challenger 731M, it has a nice soft tip and plenty of backbone to pull a teener tog out of the rocks, although I primarily only fish 15-60 feet, so you may want to step up to a little stiffer rod for heavier weight in the deeper water

Jigging World JW-NR761C-H

7'6"

6-12 oz.

It is spiral wrapped so you need to like that.

Of course, I prefer the Lami 7640, but you can't get that rod anymore.

Rod Geeks 733 734 gotta have it built

I was looking at the 733 blank today. There is so many good choices today. It makes it hard to pick.

If you're looking at that, think hard about the 734 and the 803 trimmed to 7 and a half feet.

I have a 732 and a 733. I like the 732 for fishing 6 oz weight. If I had a do over, I would swap the 733 for an 803 cut to 7.5 feet for my heavier rod, or a 734 if you want a 7 foot rod. But really should just by the NR KML listed above for less than a custom build.

Lol. Y and good advice.

Get the 733 and call it a day.  I live my 732 but it doesn't really like 8 oz and up.  I can do 8oz, but I don't love it.

The 733 likes 8, 10, not so much, so 734.

This makes sense. And unless you are wrapping yourself or "need" a custom stick get the jigging world.
