Bought in Macy's basement in 1983. Been in continuous use since.

But how do you plug it in?

We have a Technivorm Moccamaster that is 14 years old. No bells or whistles but it keeps going. Not cheap either at $350.00. We also used a French press at times.

I've been looking at these.  Does the coffee get and stay hot enough?  I was thinking it would cool off a little as it drips down thru that gap.

We have the Ninja Specialty coffee maker.   It does a nice job and you can make different sizes from one cup all the way up to a full pot.  Never used the frother.
