In fairness, raid is more of the bust down the door and storm the place kind of thing. This was more of a search.

When truckloads of armed LEO's show up and order you out of your home, that's a raid.

Just curious, but if a President illegally takes documents from the White House and refuses to give them back, what is the course of action other than a warranted search of his premises?

Oh, this is hilarious.  Let’s watch the evolution here.  The world, including the lefties here, have been perfectly comfortable with the term “raid” until the moment after the Democrats started their double-speak campaign.  Now we get to watch the wave as they all come on board!

You can’t make it up.

Why would the Democrats object to it? Seems it would fit their narrative that the President was egregiously in violation of the law.

Well James Comey didn't think it was worthy of criminal charges when Hillary put classified docs on a server in her home so this is nothing

What holds more classified data?

A server or a cardboard box?

30 or so, armed, in the early morning hours, with no advance notice, over something that was being actively discussed.

Yeah, it's a raid.

The LAST thing Dems are about, is

Law and Order.

You know this has nothing to do with either.

Well, it depends on the server and the cardboard box.

Otherwise, Hillary was intensely investigated and I had zero issues with the investigation. Just like I don't have an issue with the search/investigation here.

Don't know.

I am curious about the "illegality" of the allegation.  Geoff hinted it was a felony.

Of course she had zero issue.  Her own team was doing the "investigating".

Many presidents have left office with declassified documents where negotiations follow, but never has it resulted in a raid by the FBI.

The entire event stinks of an overreach by the Jan 6 committee that had no evidence to get a search warrant from a judge, instead, they ramp up the archive documents claim in front of a judge with little knowledge of prior precedence to gain entry to Trump's home to search.

I have a feeling that this could balloon into the Democrat's Watergate.

It may be, but we haven't gotten to that portion of the program yet.

when the USSS is in the house carrying out their mission to protect the residence of POTUS, you do not kick the door down,

Had the USSS not been there , be assured there would have been another 5 agents their assigned to "busting the door down"

If you do not believe this you are a partisan democrat hack.
