Does Cabelas still have the used gun racks?

Haven't been there in a while. I did recently hit up Cabelas in Maine. But ran in to look for something very specific. And ran out. Was fishng on the Maine-NH border. Visited an outdoor store just over the border from Maine. It was like a firearms wet dream. Was with my son who was writing up a shopping list as we went through.

Guns galore, and no junk!

I go to the Bridgeport Bass Pro when I'm feeling introspective and want to be alone.

The customer service is shallow.  If they really wanted to serve fishermen, they would have included a dock to go ull up a boat and shop.  Also, maybe sell more bait.

Ok. So I was just in Tomo's.  If all u ever know is Bass Pro or Cabelas. Go north.   OMG!!  I think I just stared mindlessly for about 5mins.  It's like the 1st time you walk into a casino.

Kittery Trading Post. Their used guns are mostly over priced, but it's a lot of fun to fondle them.

Bass Pro ended up with a couple of these dual store situations with the Cabelas buyout. They've got the small Cabelas off 495 in Hudson MA, along with the big Bass Pro 20? miles down the road in Foxboro. Does make you wonder how long the Hudson store will last.

Probably gonna do like Stop and Shop and keep storefronts just so nothing else goes there.

Just got back from Cabelas.

Man does that store suck!  Spent my giftcards. Mostly tackle & 22lr ammo.

Got licked to death by a boxer on her 1st birthday no less.   Highlight of the trip.

If you hit the Bridgeport store on weekends you do see a lot of NY license plates. When the Port Jeff Store opens, will the NY people go there?

Only the people that live in Long Island. That population isn't driving to Bridgeport to go to BPS now. No offense to any of the New Yorkers (I am one) but generally speaking, if you live in Long Island you stay there....and if you don't live in Long Island you avoid going there unless it's totally necessary. Traffic on Long Island is worse than LA. :)

You've summed up my thoughts on LI to a T!

As much as I'd love to fish LI, driving & parking there pegs my anxiety meter.
