Yeah, I figured that out. That's all I'm getting is scammers. Everybody wants to send me full price for a 20 year old truck sight unseen. I might just push it off a cliff

if you like to sell truck and it has some value,

go to copart page and sell tru them.

I use Venmo or Zelle only with trusted friends and family members.

If I sell or buy stuff like here on BST, cash or PayPal.

No issues so far.

I can't check your messages. If you click the "report" button in that specific message, that gives me access to the message. My guess is you may not have adequately explained yourself in verbiage the seller could understand. People here aren't looking to screw people, but they are welcome to sell items to someone else if they didn't get paid as promptly as they expected.

a bit offtopic but good to know information.

i advocate for anyone selling or wants to sell stuff on the BST
get it all setup first before you do anything last minute.

do it even a week in advance,  theres no cons to just having the accounts set up

even if you dont use it.  at least its always an option to use.

restrictions and locks are all there for all those payment processors.

its almost like opening a bank checking account, then immediately write out checks.

or immediately deposting thousands in checks or cash.  it gets flagged.

even if its all legitimate, even if you have proof, its still flagged or locked and then reviewed.

it usually takes time for their systems to catch up and update new things etc.

then takes time to build a history of usage up.

pp venmo zelle quickpay alike.  when you first start, theres always limitations for new account safety.

best and safest thing to do is.

go to your local banks you might have around you, if they have no or very low minimium checking accounts

thats the best.  open a new checking account.

then use this sole checking account to link up paypal, venmo, or zelle if offered.

use it exclusively for stuff like hobbies, BST, ebay etc.

this way, it keeps your normal finances, work, pay, important family accounts all seperated for safety and ease of tracking.

normally i sell something, i immediately transfer out of pp venmo, into the checking account.

then when it hits the checking account,  i transfer it out again into my normal account.

this way, nothing can be touched if things go sour.

usually with good buyers or seller, no goes bad.
