I was on a bite with the fish hitting at the end of the cast. I put one out into the zone and with a crank of the handle, I'm pissed cause I snag something.

Getting the plug back in to clean it from the debris. I snagged a GRS surface slim, so I put it in my bad and went back to work.

About half hour later Scott Davis walks up to us all bummed out :waah: because he lost his last GRS surface slim...

I lost two surface slims this spring.. i'm hoping you snagged mine..

Only two plugs I ever found. Got a big thank you from Scott :D and never got a replacement from Daniel.

I’ve found several plugs throughout the years. Don’t go out looking for them. Just get lucky sometimes to spot them. Most of the ones I’ve found were in very good shape. A couple of weeks ago I went to take a few casts somewhere. I looked down and this plug was right by my feet. Other plugs I’ve found througout the years. 9” white magic swimmer, joints bomber, nice metal lure, Mack color popper I thing a gags.
usually a low tide is a good time to spot them.

Can't tell you how many mornings at the canal I've spent more time casting at plugs floating by rather than breaking fish. LOL. Always fun to snag a lure floating by. A couple years ago I found a big ghost Sebile stuck in the jetty at the east end, then 2 months later I find another one in Dennis on a rockpile. Last month I found a big doc in seaweed on a beach. Fishing/weather was awful. Wind driven rain, rough surf no fish. As I am trudging back to the car I saw just the end of it on a clump of seaweed.
