JHC!! Its been 40+ years since I've put a boat in there, I think Petersons  log cabin restaurant/lodge? was still in business.  Can you  still launch from HW9 south?? Thanks RC

There are a few places to launch. On the southwestern side of the lake there are spots too. However, you may be disappointed with the fishing

. Lake Shenandoah is down there. I used to pass it all the time. But I never got a chance to fish it. It looked pretty good

Another place I hadnt been to in 40 years, wife and I went a few weeks ago in the jon boat, meh.

it looks like a promising lake. But I only can imagine it being overharvested
