Walmart Hooks made in the USA

I was doing my usual browsing of the Walmart fishing aisle since all of my local tackle shops are gone and noticed these hooks. They are branded as Walmart but they say Made in the USA. I’m assuming Eagle Claw makes them for Walmart since I don’t know any other mfg  of hooks in this country. If this is the case they are a much better deal than the Eagle Claw hooks on the shelves above them. They sell for $1.14 per pack of 15.

I will. They’re sharp out of the package.

try snagging a log and see if the hook bends or breaks off.

I have a 2x4 nailed to my bench that I use to test hooks.

I try a rig, attach it to a handle and walk backwards till it fails.

Sometimes if I'm feelin froggy I use a scale to measure force.

I used to use those hooks that came in the walmart packs. Just for freshwater. Never had a problem, worked just fine, sharp (or at least sharp enough). Nice little pack of hooks.
