Bridge tape......

8 posts in this topic

I've been putting this off for 2 weeks now. Avoiding the bridges because I hate the way a new boat looks covered in duct tape.......

Maybe I'll do it tomorrow.....

^^^^^   second year following the Souther Reels garden hose/Gorilla tape method.

Replaced the well used modification this Sheepshead season and the old one held up great, just looked beat to hell.

Tape residue comes off easily with Isopropyl Alcohol.

Reapplied and heading back to the Pylons with zero hull damage.

The aesthetics aspect out way the hull damage potential in my opinion.  Gotta get tight to them pylons for Sheeps and Tog

If possible, get a friend to help during application

I armored my pa14 with 0.1" kydex, screws and marine silicone. Looks weird but should really add durability. It'll be lashed to bridge squares a lot this year.
