Picked up a decent one last Sunday Morning, close to 30. She hit like freight train. I got interrupted this morning, so I called it a day. I'll go into that in a new post. lol

Just about ready to get out lawn chair, cigars , fresh chunks and surf rod. Start some 8-4 pm time.

Surf was dead for me this morning. Fought the tide n weed til about 7 then it cleared out a bit and was able to fish til 10. Beach goers forced us off at that point. Good times.

Weeds from hell, 1 hour and done, inside the harbor monkey fur and tons of long grass. On the beach weeds out 300’. Yard work now, crap

Weeds hold small creatures and bait fish so it’s annoying but the same thing bringing in the fish, southerly wind, is bringing in the weeds. I havent found much better than a single hook sluggo in these conditions. If you are camping on bait and intent on one spot then you are stuck until the bigger tides tides move them out.

Bummer. Just got back from a weekend spent chasing blues in RI. Was planning to investigate a new spot later this morning so I can fish it tonight. Hope it’s not still a mess with weeds.
