Do you consider the NYT / CNN, or MSNBC a legitimate source for news?

Where do you get your news from?

Sheesh, you would think I asked you for your SS#!

I do like the NYT, not so much CNN or MSNBC.    Now its your turn.  What do you consider legitimate sources?

Does anyone know where the love of God goes when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

So, the NYT pushed the Russia collusion hoax 24/7/365, more than any other news outlet and you “like” them?

How much coverage have you seen there about the Biden’s selling access to influence?  Any stories on Joes dementia, or kiddie touching?  Or Hunters laptop?  Any reporting on how a guy who made $150k for 40 years owns three houses and is worth millions?  Any in depth reporting in to why Hunter paid $50k/month in rent?

Can you tell us more about why you “like” them?

I will humor you. Anyone that sports a 1970’s porn industry mustache like that can’t be all bad.

Answer - Depends on the time slot.

Fox Business from 6 until 5. But, I cannot stand Cavuto so I switch off him.

Brett Baier at 6.

On days when I commute, I flip on commercial on siriusxm. In the morning I listen to Morning Joe so I can hear JS and Mika’s view point. Same for MTP Daily on commute home.

Ok, so may be the question I should have asked is this.

"What new/information sources do you consider reliable sources for credible reporting?"

I'll give it a go. I trust none of them. Scan the majors, see something of interest, go as local as possible. Most 'local' reporters have not perfected the fractional lies. Compare everyone. It's fairly easy for an honest person to see what actually happened as opposed  to what the media is trying to push.

Notorious Russian nationalist Igor Mangushev shot dead in Ukraine

Notorious Russian army captain and mercenary Igor Mangushev has died in hospital, days after he was shot in the head at close range in occupied Ukraine, his friends have said.

Mangushev's wife Tatyana described his killing as an execution.

He commanded an anti-drone unit in occupied Luhansk, but had also been one of the founders of a mercenary group fighting Ukrainian forces in 2014.

He took to a stage last summer holding a man's skull.

In a video posted on social media in August, Mangushev was filmed saying the skull belonged to a Ukrainian fighter killed defending the Azovstal steel works in the southern port of Mariupol.

An extreme nationalist, Mangushev said Russia was not at war with people, but with an idea of Ukraine as an "anti-Russian state", and it did not matter how many Ukrainians died.

Mangushev emerged from a neo-Nazi movement to co-found private mercenary group Yenot (raccoon).

He was later known to have collaborated with Russia's most notorious mercenary boss, Yevgeny Prigozhin, as a political strategist.

The shooting has prompted widespread speculation about who might have carried out the attack at a checkpoint in the occupied Ukrainian town of Kadiivka, some distance from the frontline.

Russian reports said he had been shot at close range with a 9mm bullet fired into the top of his head at an angle of 45 degrees. Russian authorities are investigating the killing and have so far said nothing about the circumstances.

The bullet had reportedly lodged in his brain. Before he died, pictures showed him lying in a hospital bed.

Who knows? A shot, so placed, sounds like it came from a window. Local partisan, Ukrainian Secret Service, etc?  Probably the first. A professional would have put an additional round or two into his head once he went down.

Lots of news about new western hardware, including fighters from Britain. That's a first. I wonder if any of it will arrive in time to matter.

Semi related question- I’ve been looking everywhere for an airplane model kit of a galaxy C5…someone found and purchased a rather pricey one from eBay, on my behalf. The seller is in the Ukraine. Given what’s going on there, what are the odds the package makes it to my door? I appreciated the gesture, but teetering on telling the person to cancel the order (been about 3 weeks or so)

Looks like the answer is a month and a half :-)

It is not news (not to me, anyhow) that Russia has far-right political groups, but if Keltan wanders back (you KNOW he's reading this) I wonder how he'd spin this.

A top Russian defence official has been found dead after plunging 160ft from a tower block window, in the latest mysterious death of a high-ranking Kremlin figure.

Marina Yankina, 58, was discovered by a passerby at the entrance of a house on Zamshina Street in St Petersburg.

She is believed to have fallen from the 16th floor to her death.

Ms Yankina was a key figure in the funding of Vladimir Putin's illegal war in Ukraine as head of the financial support department of the Ministry of Defence for the Western Military District, which is closely involved in the dictator's invasion.

The Russian Investigative Committee and the press service of the Western Military District 'Fontanka' both confirmed her death, and have launched an investigation into it.
