These blues are efn nuts

 5 flies ,2 plugs and a broken rod 

For 4hrs straight , literally hundreds swimming high stacked up from 2ft to 10ft

That’s awesome! Big gators are my favorite. Sad it seems we keep getting bypassed by them here in NJ. Hopefully some will push in. This in NY?

Yeah that was my question. Given the boat / standup board rigs … I’m thinking back bay somewhere … like Barnaget NJ or Long Island etc.

Nice Blues Thai, love the paddle board setup as well. I don’t get the folks that hate bluefish, awesome takes and fight.

Thank goodness bluefish isn’t a better eating fish. If they were they would be extinct by now. 
 

mind sharing your paddle board setup?  Looks pretty awesome.

Last time I seen them in South Jersey was 4 years ago...been waiting on them ever since.

It's a 12' livewatersport catamaran style board super stable with a 55lbs trolling motor with remote simple setup , very effective for open water and skinny water.

I’m that guy.  But God bless you. Different strokes. I avoid bluefish where i can. especially on the fly. I’d rather catch fluke any day. Mad respect for blues, but i just as soon let them swim and chomp.
