Scubaman
I have fished the Taunton River from Taunton Center going north and have caught some bass. Has anyone had any luck going south from Taunton Ceneter for LMB? At some point going south from the center the water will turn brackish, does this happen in Berkley where the 3 Mile River joins the Taunton River? Thanks! pogie_boy
I've caught LMBs as far south as Somerset but I think that was just a fish or two that got washed downstream. Upstream this time of year my buddy kills Crappie and White perch. The water is pretty brackish right up to the Weir IIRC. DITCH TROLL

HugeDinghy
I fish the waccamaw river in SC and it’s brackish. You get LMB in the top half and redfish on the bottom. The freshwater tends to float over the salt.

Too many great puddles in my hometown to go up rivers for LMBs DITCH TROLL
