no name
Hi Jim, I got your message and understand you're busy. I sent my reel in 2 and 1/2 weeks ago and have not heard from anyone. Is this due to high volume? I sent in a GR for the replacement program. Thanks for your time.
no name
This is a follow up. Penn never received my reel. Got lost in mail somehow. I gave them tracking info. They still honored the exchange. Couldn't ask for a better company to do business with. Thank You Penn !!! This is one reason I buy Penn reels. sytheteacher, rkw, OU812 and 3 others

gray gables
How does this exchange program actually work? Can you send in any old reel to exchange it for a new one?
srm413
i will let Penn respond to this officially, but the program was, if the reel is no longer serviced by penn, then they would give you a 45% discount on a new reel. the list of non-serviceable reels was on the penn website, but i don't see it anymore. steveo905
Jim, I sent two reels back to Penn for the exchange program. They were delivered there by USPS on 1-23-23. Not in a hurry, just looking to see how long the process takes. Thanks Steve

Jim, I was reading this thread and I have a Penn 8500SS that I'd be interested in exchanging if I can get more detail on the program. Can you provide?
