Chris76
Have a bunch of tidemasters, avid inshore, mojo inshore and legend tournament inshore. All have hook keepers. I assumed all their rods did. Apparently not.
tristate
I know I’m probably going to get flack but I use the foot of the first eye for a hook keeper, always have.

I’ve used the Fuji hook keepers on my freshwater stuff but I feel like they’d be too small. Does anybody have any recommendations? I believe they got rid of it because when you're speed jigging there can be enough slack in the line close to the reel that it was wrapping and nicking on the hook keeper. I always use jig wraps to hold jigs on mine.
hookmeup
Good options already mentioned. You can also put the hook around the reel handle. After I do so, I usually wrap the line twice around my guides so it doesn’t get stuck on other rods (common issue on boats with closely placed rod holders).
