Richard_the_Aughth
How many can you eat before you start feeling sick? My limit seems to be roughly 3 PSeggs
bob_G
Capecodder and I used to run 30 traps in the canal. By the July 4 cookout, we always had enough. We'd sell them from that time on and put the $$$ towards our deer hunting trip. HugeDinghy and Redhawk7 2 The Sultan of Sluggo
Karl G
None, too expensive. Was thinking of going to dinner at Row 34 in Burlington this weekend, a lobster roll is currently $54!!!

gray gables
lobster meat on the cape is roughly 90$ a lb right now. Looks like it'll be hotdogs on july 4th this year instead of our annual lobster fest.

BillyBallGame
The real questions is steamers. I feel like I've got a never ending pit of a stomach when I'm eating steamers. Jr and PSeggs 2 (*member formerly known as 'wmitchell1')

My limit seems to be roughly 3 I did an "all you can eat" buffet at some place in Ct, near the Foxwoods Casino about 12-13 years ago. It was $69/person and my wife, daughter and I went with low expectations (was not expecting Canada hardshells). My wife likes the bodies, my daughter likes the claws and I like the tails so I know I ate 11 tails and had to help my daughter with some claws. My wife did a good job on the bodies but after a few she also ate one entire lobster so what it comes down to (local chix were about $3 to the boats at the time) is they made good money on us and likely the vast majority of the people that walked in there. I find it hard to believe they went out of business..... PSeggs

b-ware
As far as lobsters go I might have one or two a year from our "communal" traps. I would just as soon drive to "Mikes" in Fairhaven and have a lobster roll with a bowl of chowda.........
