Popasilov
I know of only one nesting pair of bold eagles around the mid LI Sound. Nest by Centerport. Antek
Resident pair was back here in the Bronx as of this past weekend. Saw one dive bomb a squirrel in my backyard today, almost had it. They’ve been skimming over the surface of the bay but not hitting anything; no bait in the water yet. Always a happy sight to see them return from their travels. The other day I saw dolphins out just off of Orchard Beach. Still haven’t seen any bald eagles in my backyard, but it may just be a matter of time as the ospreys and red tailed hawks are here all the time. Saw a bald eagle yesterday terrorizing a flock of gulls over the Hudson by the Tappan Zee. Not the Boogie Down, but close enough.

I think there are some that live on Long Island I think these could be the ones that I might be seeing. I don’t think we have any nesting in the Park. But always cool seeing all of the nature that exists In an urban environment. I Fish therefore I Lie
