Was on Shelter Island yesterday and saw quite a few...most...nests occupied.

Pretty sure I saw female or juvey bald eagle yesterday or the largest weirdest colored osprey I ever saw . Like a blotchy brown kinda deal and likes I said if it was an osprey it was biggest I ever seen ..  but the osprey def in full bore counted 6 at once hovering and screaming away over the lake yesterday too

Hammer says the showed up over the fresh water holes a week ago. 

Wont be long now.

Haven’t seen one yet but haven’t been in the stock ponds that the early ones love..

I saw one a few days ago flying by my window on Peconic Bay. There is now a pair starting to build a nest atop a utility pole where there was never a nest before. They have to be eating something.

I saw an Osprey fly over New Cassel when Trump was visiting Suffolk some years ago.
