Just a good tip about Jamestown (which I love BTW).  West Marine Braintree will price match them and often saves a ton over the shipping from Jamestown if you are only buying a few things.  Anything hazardous from Jamestown incurs a fee, so might as well stock up on everything hazardous at once.  When I do buy in bulk I just order everything from Jamestown as their quality is great and they package things very carefully.

I had a ‘76 16 Duranautic up until a few years ago, put a new Yamaha 25hp on it it was a great boat I regret selling it. Bought a 16’ Workskiff with a Honda 50, also a great boat, sold that and got a 19’ Pacific with a Honda 90 which I removed last year and repowered with a Mercury 150. I love aluminum boats!

I saw one of these here on SOL a while back and complimented it….Did you post this in another thread? It may have been yours...

Pacific makes a good looking boat. They have lines like a fiberglass.

Dry as long as you keep the bow up, it doesn’t have a big enough chine where it could knock down the spray when the bow is down at speed. It is a modified V pretty sharp entry but only 14 degrees at the transom.

May have been mine, I have posted a couple pictures of it. It is a good boat but I sometimes miss the simplicity of the Duranautic.

My Duranautic doesn’t have that simplicity….it’s got the electrical circuits, steering,  livewell, bilge pump, wired in light connectors….,all the pain in the butt stuff…..but I still love it. That kind of stuff doesnt last long on an aluminum in the salt.

My tin boat in 1977 on the beach at P town.  back in the day before digital cameras.621fa9a48655d_PtownJune1977.jpgcrp.jpg.95f538e7d5a409514dd960c6b3bf29b9.jpg

Love the IH Scout ll. Too bad they were rust buckets. Those 304 V8's were awesome.

Thanks, i loved them too.   Had 3 of them. Nothing seemed to work defeating the rust.

That one a 76 had the 200- 4, i had a 64 before that .  The last one was a 79 Traveler 400  V-8

Way behind. Little by slow she is getting ready for her main assault. Had to take her out twice to see the 1st arriving bass to boston. The mirrorcraft 14 does 22 knots with two anglers on board with the 2022 Tohatsu 20. We fished all night buzzing around with 1 gallon....eff you Putin and Brandon!

Seats going in soon, wiring and what not. Will be ready soon!

Pvc floor with added floatation complete. The pink foam insulation 1" thick worked great. Removing these bench seats and putting back is a pain in the ass. If I had to do it again I would have done things different.

Looks good, ready for lots of inexpensive fishing, if you put 14-16" wheels on your trailer you can launch anywhere.

i used to fish and or clam for a week on a 6/gal tank with my 16'.

That's a good idea G. That would also solve the bottoming out from my street to driveway.
