Help finding A-Rig for Stripers

As all the freshwater anglers out there know, Alabama rigs (A-rigs) are killer for largemouth. I want to experiment with A-rigs for striper this year and am looking for a product/brand suggestion. Does anyone have a favorite A-rig for stripers? Specifically, one with hardware that can withstand the striper of a lifetime. Thanks for your advice!

The fish finder rig, best to use for soaking bait for stripers. Top and bottom are ok, but the FF rig is the best.

LOL.....That's funny....likely unintentional....which makes it better..lol

I think most castable umbrella rigs with a lead head will hold up if you only run an armed hook down the middle

Run hookless baits around the perimeter with a stinger down the middle.

Be sure to check your regulations

If you're running hooked baits on the arms...do a pull test to see.

Lots of castable umbrella rigs use spinnerbait gauge wire...not something that will hold up well to a 50# if the arms are folded into a weak hanger and stressed.

I figured the Post was about surf fishing. not from a boat.lol From the surf I catch most of my Stripers with the FF rig.

Alabama rig is something you cast not troll

Yes, looking for an A-rig to cast on a swimbait rod rated 2-8oz. @scoobydoo points to my dilemma - most A-rigs use too thin of a wire for trophy stripers. I'm searching for an overbuilt, thick wire, castable A-rig. Sounds like these are hard to come by!

Not sure if it's what you want or if it's castable but I've seen small sized 9er umbrella rigs in tackle shops that may work for you. Google 9er rigs. Worth a look anyway.

Nice! These look promising, just need to make sure they're light enough to cast. Their website doesn't seem to have weight specs but I'll dive deeper. Thanks for the suggestion
