Yeah, those look like they are them. You can also go with the 8" compact bolt cutters as well, but they are more expensive.

How do those knipex hold up and what's the warranty on them?  My cheap harbor freight bolt cutters didn't hold up and that was for occasional hook replacement.

Knipex use good steel. Watch some of the demos people have done with them on youtube or similar.

 

I mean, if it can cut a bolt that thick with 1 hand, it can go through almost any hook with 1 hand...

My Favorite Pair of Pliers to Date are the Craftsman (Slightly Offset) Pliers. Can't seem to find them anymore but definitely have done the Job for years! Picked up a new Pair of the Danco Premio last night and going to put them to the test!

Destroyed danco plyers in 3 days, there twisted and broke the cutters

I have small vs plyers that i have had for 20 years

And went and boight the large pair last week, they cut awsome
