It was nice seeing familiar faces.

It was nice looking at the lures you do not need.

It was nice to spent money on the same things.

It was nice to see smiling and happy faces all around.

Thank you Patriot  club.

Thank you for a great show

And, especially thank you to all vendors who donate goodies for a raffle.

It wasn't packed like it was before.

Less rows and more space for people to walk.

In my observation, raffle jars were not as full as last year. My guess, people are still cautions to go inside those events.

But, still,

Great that this show is back, great to see happy people, great to talk and interact with strangers after lock-down and it feels great to be a part of the great community.

I popped in raffle tickets fairly early, around 10ish, but my two or three in the $2. jars often doubled what was in them.  Yes, in the cafeteria the lack of an entire middle row of double tables made walking through and around very easy.  I felt bad for the show itself but it was a lot nicer for the browsers and buyers.   As usual, the gym had the majority of party boats, excursions, equipment, and the cafeteria the tackle and lures.   I saw only a half dozen people (at most) wearing masks and they were all in the three auditorium seminars I attended part of the time.  The first two speakers failed to repeat the questions the audience posed, so that was when I left each time.  Surprised as these two guys were regulars at show seminars.  Regardless, since I have more tackle that will likely go unused at home, I mostly go for the camaraderie, the seminars, the raffles and simply put won't attend any other shows but this one.

There is only one thing I am not so happy related to this show.

I didn't get any text message from Bob Wilson.

That means I didn't win anything on the raffle this year.

:waah:

Thanks everyone for attending the show and supporting the club

just wanted to put a note out that raffle winners will be posted Monday afternoon (the kids get to do the work) and either I or one of the top kids in the club will contact you to let you know you won the raffle starting tomorrow afternoon/evening

One more thing about the raffles, how good they are.

One of the boat captain  was buying tickets and putting them in the jars.

I think you saw him, too.

I never put my phone on the stubs !!

It shouldn't be a problem as long as you have other part with matching number.

They will post winning names and/or ticket numbers on their site.

I usually just considered it a small donation and wouldn't be worth the gas driving back but this time most of what I put in came from a friend who couldn't make it.

Meh.   Should have sent the wife.   SWMBO, unlike me, has actually won a raffle or two over the years, LOL.   Next year.
