Just had my left eye done, piece of cake.  Anesthesia was cool.  RIght eye in a couple weeks.

Curious.  What facility and where?

Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston, Plymouth.  They're a well oiled machine.

Oh sure, OCB.  You chose well.  Premier outfit.  In town, they are 300 yards from me at 50 Staniford St.

I would also have chosen them, had it not been for my long-term relationship with Mass Eye, Ear and Throat.

Were you able to drive after the procedure ?   My wife is having it done next week >

Well...I suppose I could have, if need be.   But the anesthesia still had me a bit on queer street as I walked out the door.   Also the eye has about 50% vision at the moment.

I recommend a driver.

Thanks Bob.  I figured as much even though she said she would be fine.   I'll be her driver.

I must have missed something in the thread.  I thought this was about cataract removal.
