Steak tartar anybody?

How many of us like to it raw meat?

I love making my own hamburgers and sausages so naturally, every time I do, I make me a nice plate of steak tartar.

I know @PSegnatelli would love one.

Anybody else?

I used to eat raw sirloin sprinkled with garlic salt all day when I was a meatcutter!

Looks great. Lamb is a delicious addition.

I'm from the "the only reason meat should be warm, is because it's just been killed" school of beef...

 

At Chez Roccus, folks who ask for their steaks medium, or Poseidon forbid, well done, I respond, "One steak Joan of Arc coming up!"
