It’s hard to keep it neat when your a lunatic like my self.

ln my defense I just got new wheels, had to clean out the old one so my garage is a mess now.

Basement has no excuses right now other than being lazy.

Wish I had OCD to keep it tight and clean, but I don’t.

I don't have the option of working in my garage. For half the year it's well over 100 degrees in there, and the humidity is off the charts. And I live in the no-see-um capital of the world.

Working in the house presents it's own challenges. Tracking thread and little bits of fur and feathers all over the house is annoying. So cleaning regularly is necessary.

I am working in a small space and just picked up a husky bench for under $300 from amazon, 4 ft wide with a back peg board and built-in light. I am actually pretty happy with it.

Looking at all your work benches just makes my back hurt.

I started working in the jewelry industry years ago. Having a chest level tabletop while being seated is game changing especially when working on smaller objects. Highly recommended

Terry - do you happen to have the build plans for this bench? I really like the setup. Planning to build a couple, one for garage and one for workshop in basement and this would be great for the workshop.

No sorry Stryker, these 2 benches were built by my father. I took them apart and reassembled in my basement after he passed.  The Tops are 3/4. I can take a few shots of the cut angles and PM later if you would like.

I really appreciate that - only if you have the time. Great that you were able to keep and use them!

Do you happen to have the link for that?

Me too. When I built mine, I always build the top 4 feet high. Since I’m making them from 2x4x8 it’s simple to cut in half and better on back.
