Just exploring...

My son and I are patiently awaiting March, but we're still trying to get out on the water at least once a week. We caught a small sea bass and a perch in December but have been striking out a lot.

I don't want him to get too discouraged with the lack of fish, so we decided to leave the rods at home and bring the binoculars instead.

Hit one of the local creeks for a few hours, followed a few buffleheads for a while and saw a bunch of other birds.

He had a blast and I got a new photo for the album.

There is nothing better than enjoying nature with family.
