Time to go for a sleigh ride.

Tore it down to the hull. Put new stringers in. Put a new transom in. Has a classic Chatham style dog house.

Let me know your thoughts!

I grew up in Chatham.

Right on, another Cape guy. I'll definitely be launching this in Chatham! Only got to take it out a few times before it got cold

That is some seriously great craftsmanship!!  Seriously -  great work.  I SO want to do that with a bunch of the hulls that are sitting in yards up there, but I lack the skillset.  Definitely want to give it a whirl though.   How long did it take you?

Started it May 2020 with the hopeful plan of finishing it May 2021. Quickly learned that building a boat is hard...especially when you've never done it before. Had to learn how to fiberglass, gelcoat, prime...pretty much learn how to do everything! Also had to buy everything to do it. Ended up finishing it September 2021 so almost a year and half.

I didn't have the skillset but youtube helps a lot!! Had my dad and brother on it also

Nice job.

curious if you have before/after weights

how much waterlogged crap did you remove?

Didn't take weights but it was heavy as **** when we got it. Tore out all the stringers and transom. Gutted it down to the hull.

Demo was the easy part haha000043140008.jpg.e3136f5a844367381bc7cdc869ce2341.jpgIMG_7051.jpg.b3def725f5149a007d60c7098ca28016.jpg
