Last weekend I made some strong roasted chicken, veggie and herb stock.

In the mood for soup.

Today I'm gonna make some striped bass chowdah using SIM's New England Clam Chowder recipe.

He sure is missed.

What are you cooking?

My Striper chowder, but I'm doing it with cod because I have no striper.

Nice,

I wish I had some cod!

Traditionally this long MLK weekend my two fishing buds & I would goto Montauk or somewhere north to cod fish.

One buddy passed away last year and my other buddy is sick w/ covid.

So I’m staying home, cooking & using the striper I have.
Hope mine tastes  as good as yours looks!

Cheers,

JD

I got a Omaha Steak package for Christmas I've been working on. I have no problems grilling in inclement weather.

Gives me an excuse to hang out in the garage with bourbon and  cigars...

Wow,

What a feast. That's a whole other level.

I'm not sure of everything I'm seeing, but I do know it all looks delicious.

I apologize in advance for my culinary ignorance. What is on top of the lobster tail? Is that the tail meat pulled out and smothered in some type of creme sause?
