Looking out my window right now my crab apple tree is covered with Robins. Flocks of them!

Yup, I had them last week. About 50.

Holy sh___.  Now it's like a UN meeting for birds.  Blue Jays, Robin, grackles, a woodpecker, and some other small grey birds (not chickadees) all congregating on my lawn and shrubs.

Earlier this week when the weather was really cold my in-ground bird bath, which has a heater in it, was mobbed by robins. Every time I looked at it there were 1-2 robins drinking, at times there were 5-6, sitting on the edge dipping up and down. With the heater in it I was thinking it was like a hot cup of tea, coffee or soup on a cold day.

I'm down in PA and i have not seen a robin in months, they must go somewhere else in the area in the winter because there are usually 20+ in my yard.

The bluejays, cardinals, doves and nuthatches are here in force.
