Steelers @ Chiefs Sunday night 8:15   Wild card round.  Chiefs -12.

Steelers didn't show the Chiefs anything a month ago, was Tomlin holding back, knowing he may meet them again in the playoffs?

Steelers can't afford another slow start.

I wouldn't go that far that Tomlin was holding back, lets face it the team was lucky to "back in" to a wild card position. But be that as it may, I would like nothing more than the Steelers to upset KC.

Maybe the Steelers had nothing to show?

Quite possible.

The Steelers swept the Ravins and Browns, and beat the Bills and Titans, they are sneaky at times.

Still waiting to see them dead and buried?

They're not dead yet but they are on life support.

They got to charge up the paddles see if they find a spark for Ben. .

Bears request permission to talk to Omar Khan, Steelers contract guru, for GM position. Steelers present GM, Colbert, is rumored to retire after the draft.  Khan may have been considered as a replacement.  Be interesting to watch.

Key to the game is Steeler defense limiting Mahomes.  Will KC defense continue to roll and make life miserable for Ben?

Another key is Watt with sacks, pressure and holding calls on KC

If this was in Pitt I would give them a small but fighters chance

in KC I think they get blown out

the smart move for pitt is to try and slow down the game-give the ball to harris early and often and hope they get out front-if KC gets up early it is over early-Ben just cant throw anymore sad but true

I am teasing KC and Tampa to make spreads much lower

Dan Moore, LT returned to full practice yesterday after missing a week, that helps.

Both teams are about as healthy as possible for this time of year

“[The Steelers] probably aren’t supposed to be here. We’re probably not a very good football team,” Roethlisberger told reporters assembled in Pittsburgh. “Of 14 teams that are in [the 2022 NFL Playoffs] we’re probably number 14. We’re double-digit underdogs in the playoffs, so let’s just play and have fun and see what happens.”

Lets hope the Chiefs are overconfident and Mahomes stubs his toe again.

Andy trying to keep them focused.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid-"the Steelers are playing like a number one seed right now",  LOL
