Gettleman goes, or he's expected to go. His eye for talent is lacking. Both of the backup quarterbacks will go, I expect. The injuries suffered by so many Giants this year leaves me wondering about the strength and conditioning coaches. What about Judge?

The Giants have two top-ten picks in April. Keep them and use them, or trade down for more players at more positions?

Question is will Mara finally go outside the organization and hire a GM  and give him full authority to hire and fire ...so we shall see...

Bigger question is, Daniel Jones. Is he the real deal or is he a career back up. My take is he is serviceable with a decent line, and outside talent. If that's the case, then take picks and trade down for multiple picks. Trade equity, when you suck, is invaluable.

This is what I would do...

Hire a new President of the team (John Mara to be solely an owner like Tisch)

Hire a new GM - outside person

The GM makes the decisions - coaches, players, etc

Problem is there won't be a lot of pressure for other teams to trade up, no draft specialist here but this isn't supposed to be a great quarterback draft year. Those are the years when people make trades up, that you can really gain quality picks in the lower first and second rounds.

Do we know if there is a left tackle that is worthy of burning a first round pick on . As we all know we need an O line.

We can draft all the round 1 receivers in the world, but if our QB is running for his life, it's moot.

Look at Barkley, we have wasted three of his prime years.

Judge, Gettlemen, and most of the coaches need to go.  Burn it down and start over.  This is the worst Giants era since Joe Pisarcik was fumbling.

Judge gets one more round, Geittleman needs to book his plane ticket out of town. They need to draft 2 stud OL to go along with this years number 1, thats 3 top notch OL to build behind. Jones will have to do until something comes along that looks more attractive. Time to not put any stock into Saquon Barkley9 RB), he's good at running sideways doing nothing and getting hurt. Guy always tries to get another 6 inches on very run and gets killed doing so.

Secret is, in the NFL if you manage the roster right and coach it well, rebuilding can be down quickly, in under 2 years.

Right now, its a mess.

We're about 10 years into "20 years of lousy football" 2.0.

Maybe it's time to schedule one game in the pre-season for the Yale Bowl, for old time's sake.

Yup.

First, let's find a manager, the single most make-or-break decision in football. Coach is second.

I have no idea of the available candidates, or their qualifications.

Everyone needs o-line help and that begins with left tackle. Most important position after QB.KC lost the SB because their 2 tackles were hurt and Tampa arguably lost Sunday because Wurts was out.

Not a lot of quality O-lineman this year. Edge rushers defensive backs and receivers according to the draftniks.
