Just the bodies are sold. It's up to you to find the right jig head to match where you are fishing. The one in the pic is on a 2 oz jig head that I had rigged for slack at the canal when the squid were around last year. I typically throw a 3/4 oz head off of the beach. A slow steady retrieve seems to work best.

Bass Candy Delights??

Look interesting, I wonder if the larger sizes can be fitted to 3, 4, and maybe 5 oz. jig heads for the canal.  The profile even suggests a shad head type jig (as shown) but color matching and then again in heavier weights.

PS the molds for these baits are commercially available...................

What is the "safety chain for?

Its a 4 inch swivel:th: we used them last year when fishing big blue fish, it makes for an easy and safe landing of the fish. A few years back my boat mate ended up in the emergency room when his finger was to close to a blues mouth. "Blue fish safety swivel" Cheap insurance:laugh: The last few years I started seeing them on the charter boats.

So kind of a "handle" -  the chain keeps the fish from using leverage against you when landing and unhooking them.

Good idea, I have a couple good scars from blues.

Does anyone know where the love of God goes when the waves turn the minutes to hours?
