CCB be safe

Today
S wind 8 to 11 kt, with gusts as high as 20 kt. A chance of showers, mainly before 11am. Seas 1 to 2 ft.
Tonight
SSE wind 8 to 11 kt becoming SW 5 to 8 kt after midnight. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9pm, then a slight chance of showers between 9pm and 11pm. Patchy fog after 11pm. Seas 1 to 2 ft.
Tuesday
SSW wind 7 to 10 kt increasing to 12 to 15 kt in the afternoon. A slight chance of showers between noon and 4pm, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Seas around 1 ft.

Wednesday
N wind 6 to 9 kt becoming NE in the afternoon. Sunny. Seas around 2 ft.

Nights are long, bite is slow and I'm finding that the beaches are holding less bait than before the moon.

 

Still picking away at some fish each night. Lots of shorts and slots with a few better fish around.

I’ve been observing the same. I think this upwelling of cold water has pushed bait into creeks and bays. Still some fish out front but I’m needing to work really hard for a couple fish a night, average size is decent though, low-mid slot

Took the girls for a boat ride in CCB "some warm waters" last night did some beach fishing, I caught nothing:)

We need to fix this beach closure abuse   Enuff is enough already. Every year they take more. The pigeons are back already. G D.  WTF ? We hate those birds   Hate
