Evil…….who makes those jig heads?

Hi Yogi,

Those are Jigging World Shad Jig heads.  The hooks are 8/0 Mustad 3x hooks.  VERY strong hooks.  The Jig heads in the pic are 1.5oz.

The shads are Elias swim shads.

Bucktails of various weight, Bucktails of various colors (mostly white) & Bucktails of various hair density (mostly with lots of hair). All tipped with soft plastic or pork. All bullet head style. The hardest and easiest lure to fish with. Not too mention, the most productive. Swims like nothing, but mimics everything. Not very alluring to the average fisherman, not very attractive as a brightly colored painted lure. However, depending on the weight, hair density, jig style (bullet, smiley, etc..), can be fished in a multitude of fashions. Slow like a needle, fast like a diamond jig, snapped like a popper, erratic like a spook & crazy like a pencil. Multitude of uses. Can be used to find depth of bottom and drop offs with ease, it punches through the wind better than any turned wood or plastic, and the best part is, it's inexpensive. Andrus Jetty Caster, best bucktail on the market, other than tying your own.

Santa needs some suggestions.

Hi Santa!

Send the good boys & girls these lures for Xmas cheer:

1. Doc Musky Mania Spook in 7 or 9 inch ... they're magical. Accept no substitutes.

2. Super Strike Little Neck popper or Darter .... they cast far and set a standard ... they have held on to their reign.

3. Daiwa SP Minnow ... it's not the size that matters .. it's the profile and swimming action.

Have a Merry one!

Am I the only one that's gonna say --  depends where you are?

That pretty much applies to everything, but there’s not a body of fresh water I wouldn’t throw a #1 Mepps in.

Kinda my thoughts with the question. Basic stuff.
