CWitek
Not aware of much going on in this part of the world. I was supposed to get an invitation to hunt them in Florida a few years ago, but the guy who talked to me about it in July never gave me a call come bird season., Always wanted to do it. Supposed to be pretty interesting shooting. "I have always believed that outdoor writers who come out against fish and wildlife conservation are in the wrong business. To me, it makes as much sense golf writers coming out against grass.." -- Ted Williams
hunter123
There is a guide in Chincoteaug VA that goe's after them, if he is still around. Capt, Frank Mundus. The man, the myth, the legand.
DMacLeod
Not since I was a kid. It was really difficult with a paper bag in the rain. hunter123, Cabo2005 and Fergal

DaveC
I used to hunt them. Never got one though. All I got was a walk out of the woods in the dark. I kept trying though. DMacLeod 1 DaveC <0))))))))))))><
JTR
There’s a few guys on YouTube that do it. Looks like fun but tough. I honestly don’t know what they even look like in person.
Kphresh
My second uncle on my dads side had an old Snipe call that seemed to always to the trick. Couldn't tell you who made it or what happened to the dang thing.... Guess it's back to paper bags
Fishinjohny
Hunted snipe in Maine when I was in college. A lot like woodcock hunting with less cover. Great fun ! That was back in the early seventies.
fishless
Quit trying for em when I was in 5th grade. "I was a waste of time dumbasses" Sevenxseventy1
flyman28
Late 70's, Marshes in SW Florida. What a blast! Smaller than woodcock but quicker! Walked them up on Hammocks!
Joser
Put one up occasionally while jump shooting ducks in the marsh. Shot one once just to say I have but for me its not worth it to blow out the marsh of ducks for a snipe. wingsandwater
Bonefish79
Did it once as a youngster in Florida, and I should have known something was up when my buddies cousin handed me a .410 for the hunt.
