SCOTUS to overturn Roe v Wade?

Yes or no? ....I say yes

Former Vice President Mike Pence on Tuesday will lay out the case for reversing the precedent set by Roe v. Wade on the eve of Supreme Court arguments over a Mississippi law that bans abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy.

In remarks at the National Press Club, obtained in advance by The Hill, Pence will call the high court's decision on Roe, which protected a woman's right to have an abortion, a "misguided" ruling that has unfairly harmed millions of unborn children and triggered a ripple effect of consequences across the country.

"We are asking the Court, in no uncertain terms, to make history," Pence will say, according to prepared remarks. "We are asking the Supreme Court of the United States to overturn Roe v. Wade and restore the sanctity of human life to the center of American law."

Don’t know if they’ll change the ruling, but we’ll survive.  It’s too controversial NOT to be a state issue, really.  Especially when the Constitution doesn’t address it.

States should use the updated science since RvsW on viability to determine time restrictions.

This is not a good time to drive Independents and middle leaning people away from the Republican party, especially whit how bad the Biden administration is screwing up the country. Why can't they just leave RvW alone?

Agreed.

Abortion is becoming less and less necessary.   Just let it go into history like leeches and bloodletting

It would be great if we could address this as a legal issue, not a political one.  If the law is not consistent with the Constitution, then the political fallout isn’t really relevant.  I mean, in a perfect world.

The left wants to restrict our second amendment rights with what they call “Reasonable” gun control;  Yet at the same time they want absolutely zero restrictions on abortions and that isn’t found anywhere in the Constitution or its many amendments.

I am all for reasonable abortion control.

Up to 18 years of age.

I mean, if you are going to kill kids, why place some arbitrary age on it?
