Just to add to Charles comments, the SAFMC, which regulates Mahi, has just asked for two additional members of its mahi advisory panel who are from New England because of the increased catches of mahi due to the warming waters.

there are plenty of mahi if you go far east enuf of cape cod (canyons way).

i have a running bet we’ll get at least chickens on the pots on stellwagen by 2030.

best place close to the ne to target - as said - plenty mahi - and recently more big ones - not too far s of long island.

john mcmurray/one more cast charters is a good choice.

If you can make it down to the sandy hook area, hit me up next summer. I  mahi fishing. You're welcome to come along. Started catching them in late July this year.
