Brian Laundrie's suicide

So, the remains found in a Florida swamp are Brian's. He was a suicide. What a surprise ... not.  Murderers often do off themselves, whether immediately after they kill or while they're in prison.  He's destroyed two families, though I can't feel too much grief for his own parents; I think they knew, or were virtually certain, that he'd killed her. Did they know that he was violent and capable of killing while enraged? I think they did know, at least to the extent that they knew he was physically violent when enraged, and not capable of restraining himself. Did they hope Gabby would tone him down, civilize him? Quite possibly.

This is a final act of control. I can see him being livid with rage when the news broke that her body had been found. (Did he then blurt out to his parents that he'd killed her?) But the suicide so totally fits with what he appears to have been, controlling and aggressive. I won't be held to account, they won't put me on trial, I won't be made to face her parents in court, I won't be made to explain myself - I'll show them!

And he did. I think he intended to leave a mystery to plague officialdom and everyone else involved. Where is Brian Laundrie? I told my wife that I thought he'd committed suicide, and an alligator swamp is a good place to do it. Wade waist-deep at least, blow out your brains. The pistol (I bet it was) sinks into the muck, and the alligators will move in speedily to clean up his remains. I have no doubt that the bastard was feeling put-upon, sorry for himself, and deeply resentful of the Petitos for making him feel bad. He probably felt he was taking a justifiable revenge for all he'd had to put up with.

The OP craps the bed. This kids name doesn't rate to be mentioned.

I’m going to get rav to edit the thread title later.

I know the last DSM discontinued the use of "sociopathic," and "narcissistic," but I'm a layman so I feel free to keep using them.  :)

DSM is a product of the modern APA - buncha loons.  Talk to old school psychs and they'll give you an earful about the PC culture that has taken over.

Good.  He saved the taxpayers a lot of money.

The news I listened to said they found other bodies as well during the search.

ok , what's DSM

his parents knew he was guilty and knew he was dead,

someone said earlier they were too calm, they're probably relieved that they don't have cover for him anymore
