Unfortunately striper bass fishing arond SF last years becoming worst and worst.

Current year is especially bad. Is somebody could explain that?

I've heard that some striper bass nurseries were closed.

Or may be enormous amount of sea lines exterminated str. bass population?

Or may be water diversion affected str. bass population?

May some biologists know sours of problem?

If you are on the West Coast, take a lookin in the forum that Dan mentioned.  There are a lot of different discussions about the decline of our striper population, but in my mind it comes down to diverting water away from the spawning grounds which is also decimating our salmon populations.

For this year in particular, a lot of us feel that the fish stayed in the Delta and rivers because of the lack of rain.  Another thing I heard was that a lot of the fish made a right at the Gate and went way north.
