The Bourne Historical society is in the process of bringing back one of the Old Steam Engines that once was used to move the sand and stones to make the Cape Cod  Canal back in another time. It may be in place now or it soon will be at the Muesem every one calls the Trading Post. One of the original trading post still standing once used in another time for the workers that were hired to work on the canal dredging . The Bourne Historical society under the leader ship of Ms. Diane Flynn and Skip Barlow have been working on this project for some time now to make this happen . We will need to see what what was once an original steam engine that worked the digging of the canal actually looks like and who knows what part of the restoration project will further bring to the town of Bourne, folks who appreciate an other time in history. Peace and Prayers
