Hi all,

 

I've been out for nearly half a decade now.

Been busy with work and family, but mainly family.

 

I've been fishing here and there, but I think that's where my heart's at and I'd like to keep in touch with you all...

We've rented a place in a religious, but still gorgeous and tourist shore town, south of Goa where we stay for about 5 months between November and March, but no cow crap involved.

It's a catfish, although they take spoons. So, it was a tough fight, compared to a barracuda or a barramundi of equal size

The closest we have to tarpon is an Oxeye Herring and they're not even remotely as big as tarpon.

It's a place called Gokarna.
Enjoyed the beaches and the fishing it had to offer. But, I think it's going to go south with India planning to open for international tourists by mid-October. Enjoyed the peace for a year and a half whenever we were there.
