How to set Casio watch with tide data

I picked up a Casio 3473 waterproof watch to wear at night as it has an illuminator.  It also has a tide data chart and is pretty inexpensive.

I hope someone can help me with setting it to local tides.  I have to set the differential on my home screen to New York as it is EST but tides are different everywhere.

The directions are not that clear.

Can anyone explain how to set the tides to where I want?

How accurate does this watch track the low/high tide times for the set area over say a months time?  Don't need to re adjust for a month.

I think it's kinda gimmicky,

I don't really look at it much.

I look up all my tides online

Good enough advise for me.

It does seem a bit too 'crude' to be of real value in most cases where 30 minutes or such matters. This looks like it will get you + - 1 hour or so to a low/high.
