Maybe single hook in back or drop the front hook all together. Gonna throw the frankin squarebill  to see what it does fist but it made me chuckle.

Well.. it do look a bit 'hooky'.  But how does it swim?

Gonna fish it tonight and see what it does then adjust from there.

Made it neutrally bouyant has a very nice wobble. Fishes more like a twitchbait then a sauarebill now. I’m missed three fish on it already. Next hit i’m try to rip the fishes face off. Having trouble sticking anything with it.

Ummm....why?

The rings look like a porgie could leverage them off.

Looks like a Chevy Cavalier with 35" tires about to hit the trails

Yeah, i concluded the splitrings were what was causing me the problems, the hooks were definitely binding up in them. ( left them at my house) So I just added the trebles to the existing splitings to see how it swam.

it was getting eats last night, in fact that plug was the only thing that illicited a strike.

I bought those 5x trebles to change out rusty hook on other plugs and they were just in my car, I didn’t like the look of the trebles that came on the plug so I was like why not.

right now it has a slow sink, I think I’m going to throw to 3x on it. And then it’ll be perfect…. After i switch out the splitrings too.

i don’t like the stock hooks at all
