A member here made a kind gesture and offered to meet up and give you a reel but you were an ungrateful smartass about. Kick rocks pal.

I might have gone with "go pound sand" but that's just a personal preference.

Nothing wrong with Walmart stuff. A guy who I used to fish with, bought a 20 dollar spinning combo from Walmart back in 1995. Used it for fluke fishing for 10 years without a problem.

Then go buy a Walmart reel. Figure it out for yourself, ungrateful ass.

you had the right reel to begin with are are trying to replace it with an inferior 'modern' cheap replacement... should have stuck with the 710 that would have lasted a lifetime until you figured out what you wanted as a more permanent solution. for $30-$50 go find another one.

also everyone here has been nothing but helpful for you an appreciative of your situation, being an *** is going to get you nowhere. Be grateful for any help that others are offering, not too many people are helpful these days, and your attitude is a prime reason why people don't even bother helping others anymore.

good luck with life.
