Greasy Savages. good riddance

Nine members of the Colombo crime family were busted on racketeering charges Tuesday morning— including its two most senior members, who are both in their 80s, a law-enforcement source said.

Among the collared are Andrew “Mush” Russo, 87, who allegedly heads the crime family, and reputed underboss Benjamin “The Claw” Castellazzo, 83 — who’s already done time for extortion related to a fight over Brooklyn’s L&B Spumoni Gardens’ secret red sauce recipe.

They and others are charged in an indictment alleging that the Colombos tried to infiltrate a labor union, the source said.

The sweeps also netted a Bonanno crime family soldier, according to the source. One defendant remains at large.
