We always had snow in November that was under all the other snow we got all winter that didn’t melt till April, not anymore thank God but 4 or 5 weeks of ice covered ground and everything sucks. Just not as bad as hurricanes   The flooding has gotten worse from runoff and all these big rains. The mountain folks have seen roads and bridges totally destroyed like never before.  We built too much where we shouldn’t

Wow, the fact that that boat looks the way it does makes me impressed the structure is still there at all.

We have our share of meteorological curve balls up here but thankfully nothing like that at least on a large scale.

Add to that no water moccasins or alligators and I’m pretty happy with NE. I can walk into a swamp and be pretty confident nothings going to kill me. That’s a win in my book!
