Used to eat it a lot when I lived north. Now Im the only one that likes it. Cant recommend anywhere but Asbury has a great restaurant scene. If that fails catch a bonito and serve it right away sashimi style with soy sauce.

Taka in Asbury is good, but can get pricey - it’s a nicer sit down restaurant. The actual food is also good there.

Sono in Middletown is really good as well. Fuku in Hazlet is also solid

Taka

Sono in Middletown

Both great

The sushi place next to where the shoprite in Middletown used to be was also good and was running a lot of specials but I haven't been there for a while
