Anybody recognize this conventional reel?

ever see one with the handle?  i have cleaned the reel up a bit since the photos and it looks pretty good.  it operates perfectly.  it appears to be a 400 based upon line capacity.

saw some photos online, definitely a sealine with the optional "stabilizing handle".   thanks, this site is the best!  reel will be for sale shortly, not sure what to ask for it however.

I used to drag eels on the humps at the North rip for many years and I did that with a daiwa  sealine 30-H which is about the size of maybe a abu 7000.

Perhaps what you have is maybe a 50-H.

that optional top handle works get when rod is an a angled or flat holder. gets you great leverage to crank down especially deep dropping.

 

if you never tried it, just imagine what i just described.

not a rockcod,  the spool has a red line.

the rock version has no line, and that crazy throw straight handle.
